This segment revisits Casey at the Merzouga Rally in Northern Africa. This was The American’s first effort with South Racing and his first 5-stage rally race. He shares with us the hard lessons learned and how they used that racing wisdom to prepare or the next race on the docket, the INCA Challenge, a race he actually won. That victory not only restored his confidence in his driving abilities, but also told him he’s ready to take on Dakar. Plus, Casey takes us along for the ride during his physical and mental training for the grueling race this January.
