Press Release –
Team Epic Racing / Can-AmTM racer Jeremy Lawson rode his DS 450TM ATV to a fourth-place finish in Sunday’s second moto at the Oakley ATV Southern Nationals at Muddy Creek Raceway in Tennessee.
With that finish, Lawson was able to grab an eighth place overall finish.
His team mate, Sage Baker finished ninth overall, while Team Warnert Racing / Can-Am racer John Natalie rounded out the top 10 for the weekend.
“Putting three DS 450 ATVs in the weekend top 10 is an accomplishment we can build on for the next round,” said Del Bohlman, Product, Media Relation and Racing Manager for Can-Am ATVs at BRP. “With our stable of strong riders racing hard for both motos, we know good things will happen each round.”
In the amateur ranks, Cole Henry rode his DS 450 X to a first-place finish in the 450 B class.
Henry went 2-1 in the class for the race win. After eight rounds, he currently sits second in the class.
Jeremy Lawson said, “The bike ran great! The set up we used at Unadilla worked so well we decided to use it again for this round. I had a couple of battles with Josh Creamer and John Natalie. I just waited for my opportunity and went for the passes.”
The next round of the ITP/Moose Racing AMA/ATVA ATV Championship Series is July 12-13 at Pleasure Valley near Armagh, PA.
