(CPRA) has announced that the Quad Terrain Challenge Championships will take place on April 6 2008, at Horseshoe Valley Resort north of Barrie, Ontario.
The ATV Terrain course will be built at the Heights Of Horseshoe which is located directly across the street from Horseshoe Valley Resort and the event will include Off Road Vehicle displays, Demo rides, and Quad Terrain Racing. The event will take place on the same weekend as the RYDE FX National Snowcross Championships.
OLN TO BROADCAST THE 2008 QUAD TERRAIN CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Go Riding TV has confirmed that the CPRA “Quad Terrain Challenge Championships” April 6 at Horseshoe Valley Resort, will be televised by numerous Canadian broadcasters including OLN Canada, A Channels (all Canadian Stations), City TV (Western Stations), MCTV and Thunder Bay TV.
The Canada wide broadcast will show all the rough and tumble action up close and the additional exposure will be great for the new Quad Terrain racers and sponsors.
(2) NEW QUAD TERRAIN CLASSES ADDED:
Due to the great response to the Winter Quad Terrain Challenge Series, we have added (2) new classes for ATV competitors. The additional (Sport Utility) classes will provide opportunity for any adult with a 4×4 ATV opportunity to try competing on a enclosed terrain course, in a safe controlled environment. CPRA winter events will now feature a total (4) competition classes.
Junior Stock 0-600cc 4×4 – Juniors 16-17 years of age.
Sport Stock 600 0-600cc 4×4 – Adults 18 + (New racers).
Sport Stock 800 0-800cc 4×4 – Adults 18 + (New racers).
Pro Stock 0-700cc 4×4 – Adults 18 + (Pros).
In addition to prizes and awards for all classes, the CPRA will provide a minimum guaranteed purse of $14,000 for the Quad Terrain Challenge Series in the 700cc Pro Stock class.
Prize money will be allocated to Pro competitors at each event as follows.

3rd. $250
4th. $150
5th. $100
