Press Release –

With surging winner Adam McGill leading the pack, Maxxis swept the top eight spots and took nine of the top ten at the GNCC Maxxis General.

McGill crossed the finish line six minutes ahead of the next racer, fellow Maxxis and Team FRE KTM rider Taylor Kiser. The race was held March 8 in Washington, Georgia.

“It feels great,” McGill told gnccracing.com. “This is the machine I wanted to race the first time I saw it. I was a little worried on the last lap, because I’ve been there before and it hasn’t worked out.”

Pro rookie Brandon Sommers took third place, with Bryan Cook in fourth and Ryan Lane in fifth.

Matt Smiley, Jarrod McClure and Johnny Gallagher nailed the sixth, seventh and eighth place spots, and David Crane rounded out the top ten for Maxxis.

Both defending champ Bill Ballance and Chris Borich, winner of the opening GNCC round a week earlier, were unable to finish due to mechanical problems.

Maxxis’ winning streak also extended to the morning race with an overall victory for Traci Cecco.

Maxxis congratulates Adam McGill and Traci Cecco and thanks all of its sponsored riders for their fine performances.
