One of the most important aspects of the new-age Razor XP 900 is the fact it has all the already-mentioned improvements and still weighs in at a very low 1,190 lbs (540 kg),dry.
There’s 13.5-inches of ground clearance up front and 14 in the back and improvements have been made to the brakes until this SxS can brag far more brake surface area than any competitor – even those weighing up to 300 lbs more.
The 900 still comes with Polaris’ rock solid On-Demand AWD system but includes a mean set of aluminum wheels and gnarly ITP XCT tires.
This particular RZR even features the industry’s first LED headlights. The only thing we can think of that Polaris left off the list is electric assisted power steering. Gotta be something to add in the future.
Speaking of the future, we’ve got to think this is the way all RZRs will eventually be headed. This new 900 is so unique and so extreme performance-targeted, we can’t help but think demand will go crazy for the new XP improvements right cross the model line.
Stay tuned for our first ride impressions…
