Polaris has made some interesting moves across its entire 2007 line-up.
– The Sportsman 500 carb is gone.
– All 500s (including the X2) will now have EFI.
– The 500 Predator’s retail price in both the USA and Canada will be reduced.
– 700 and 800 EFI Sportsman models can be custom ordered with Mossy Oak and Deluxe equipment packages.
Notable is the availability on both the 700 and 800 of Polaris Active Descent Control (ADC) which debuted on the X2 Sportsman last year. The system provides four wheel engine braking (not just rear wheel) when the ATV is in 4WD at speeds under 15 MPH.
Deluxe models carry a factory installed 2500 pound Warn Winch, cast aluminum wheels and a host of nifty goodies like rack extenders.
