KTM North America, Inc. is proud to announce its partnership with TrueSports, Incorporated, to feature KTM motorcycles as the Official Motorcycle of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and The Mid-Ohio School.
Forming the partnership with TrueSports, Inc. allows KTM to further its “Ready to Race” tradition in the off-road circuit, while also continuing to move forward at an aggressive pace with its increasingly popular line of street motorcycles.
In accordance with the partnership, KTM will utilize the entire Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course facility, including The Mid-Ohio School, Mid-Ohio Motocross Park and various wooded areas to showcase its full product line to consumers, as well as conduct dealer and internal training events.
KTM and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will work together on their first event as partners at Round Eight of the AMA Superbike Championship held at the 2.4-mile, 15-turn road circuit, August 1-3, 2008. As the official motorcycle of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and The Mid-Ohio School, KTM will display its entire line of street motorcycles at the race.
“This partnership is a perfect fit for KTM as we continue to expand our street line with our Ready to Race “R” models and 1190 RC8,” commented KTM’s Street Product Line Manager, John Hinz. “The Mid-Ohio School instructors will be utilizing KTM motorcycles, which will showcase our expanding product line to their hard-core street and track day enthusiasts.”
