We’ve been expecting Polaris to respond to the emerging two-passenger segment with a very serious, ready-for-two model this year.
We suspect Polaris may up the ante in this class with a twin cylinder (600 or 700EFI) twofer that’ll send both Bombardier and Arctic Cat looking for more power.
It has also been rumored Polaris has a new and improved 400cc engine for the Sportsman 400. Last year’s re-engineering of the most popular chassis in the industry was exciting but we have to say we were looking for a more potent 400 Sportsman a year ago.
Polaris is never slow to respond to customer demands so watch out for this model in 2006 or ‘07.
