ARGO, the world leading extreme vehicle manufacturer, today released three new vehicles as part of its Wilderness Series geared towards the hunting community – The Outfitter 8×8 XTI, The Scout 6×6 and The Duck Master.

The new Outfitter model is the end result of a collaboration that saw the company team up with famed hunting expert Jim Shockey to create the ultimate ARGO 8×8 all season, all-terrain amphibious vehicle.

Designed to meet the specifications of hunt camp operators, lodge owners, and big game guides who traverse the world’s toughest terrain, the new 2016 ARGO Outfitter 8×8 XTI is a hunter’s dream come true and features a number of unique options as standard equipment including:

– Angle mounted four gun Sure Grip gun rack to ensure the safe transportation of weapons to the best hunting grounds
– Removable hood rack capable of carrying cargo and small game out of the bush
– Enhanced brushguard provides outstanding protection for the front end of the vehicle, absorbing impacts from off-road hazards such as brush, branches, and more
– Dual rear entry steps to assist in vehicle entry and exit when outfitted with gear, backpack and guns
– Heated hand grips for both passenger and driver for those longer days out in the bush
– USB power outlet, for riders to charge their phones, play music and utilize their GPS

– 12-inch handrails for extra cargo storage
– Dual bilge pumps

Tapping into his near 30 years of Outfitting experience in the Yukon and Western Canada, ARGO recruited legendary hunter Jim Shockey to help design the new machine.

The new ARGO Outfitter is built on the XTI platform and is powered by a 30 hp 748 cc electronic fuel-injected Kohler LH 775 engine coupled with an efficient ADMIRAL steering transmission for great performance in challenging terrain.

With a load capacity of 1,275 lbs and towing capacity of up to 2000 lbs, hunters can now rest easy that no matter what game is in the season, the ARGO Outfitter’s all-season mobility and impressive payload will get them to and from the most prime hunting spots. All this power is matched by a commitment to respecting the environment with low emission rates that meet both EPA and CARB standards.

The 25″ ARGO Tires can get through extreme terrain with their aggressive tread pattern and lug size, and their excellent approach and departure angles allow for easy travel over obstacles. And it doesn’t matter what the weather is like because the vehicle operates reliably both in cold weather and in high altitudes so hunters can explore new ground from the mountains and the marsh to the savannah and the tundra, secure in the knowledge that the new ARGO Outfitter will get them and their trophies home safe.

The ARGO Duck Master

In addition to most of the standard features of the ARGO Outfitter model, the ARGO Duck Master includes an innovative fold down back door allowing for easy access for dogs and passengers alike. The ultimate waterfowl hunting machine, the ARGO Duck Master allows users to switch from cross country to swimming without skipping a beat. With its muted sand tone, waterfowlers can get in and out of their blinds in comfort and undetected. ARGO also recently partnered with Willie and Jase of Duck Commander fame to further refine its Duck Master model.

The ARGO Scout 6×6

Customized with a Mossy Oak Break Up Infinity Camo pattern for hunters and outdoorsmen who require greater stealth in the woods, the new ARGO Scout 6×6 is the second vehicle unveiled as part of ARGO’s new Wilderness Series.

Powerful, reliable and as tough-as-nails, the ARGO Scout is designed for serious hunters looking to explore remote hunting grounds and features a number of unique options as standard equipment including:

Comprising a family of new hunting vehicles in the company’s newly formed Wilderness series, the ARGO Outfitter, ARGO Scout and ARGO Duck Master were unveiled as part of a week-long global sales expo which saw upwards of 150 dealers and international distributors attend various sales and marketing training sessions, in addition to taking part in demo rides and a vendor village of the company’s key suppliers.

Assembly line production of some of the new models have already begun and vehicles will be available in dealerships across North America and around the world starting in the Fall.

The new vehicles and accompanying global sales expo mark a dramatic step change for the company following impressive year over year international sales growth, and the launch of several new product enhancements including a new state-of-the-art anti-corrosion paint system and dual beadlock system which gives users increased suspension, resulting in a smoother, more comfortable ride over rough terrain.

The new beadlock system also allows users to operate with tire pressure as low as 1 PSI, while the new anti-corrosion paint system has been implemented to further enhance and increase the longevity of the vehicle’s lifespan.
